I have edited something for the BBC! There you are, I said it. That is the bragging out of the way, now, i’ll tell you what it was.
The other day, one of my tutors from university put my name forward to John Offord, a BBC producer. He needed an insert editing to be broadcast as part of Songs of Praise.
The BBC run a scheme called BBC School Report.
BBC News School Report gives 11-14 year-old students in the UK the chance to make their own news reports for a real audience.
The package I edited was part of this scheme and follows School Reporters Ryan, Ann and Charlie from All Saints Catholic High School in Sheffield. They went behind the scenes at this years School Choir of the Year Competition interviewing Aled Jones and David Grant
