Based in Bristol, UK, and currently studying Media Production at the University of Lincoln, I am a developing media practitioner with a passion for the outdoors and adventure.
I originally trained as an outdoor instructor while living in Bristol, teaching climbing and kayaking. After a rather strange turn of events, I ended up going to University at Lincoln to study Media Production. Since the day I started the course, I decided that this is where I want to be, so I took the bull by the horns and in my first year, set up a small business, freelancing and making videos. This led me to receive a business grant from the University’s business support centre, Enterprise@Lincoln.
I have tried to fit in as much experience as I can, taking extra courses and opportunities whenever they arise. I have built up my skills through a combination of training, at University and on extra courses like the Adventure Film Academy Pro (2010), but also through working for a number of clients, self teaching and experimentation.
I have decided to combine my two skills and passions, outdoor sports and media production, to establish myself as a leading provider of adventure sports media.
As someone once told me..
“Find a job you love, and you’ll never have to work a day in your life”
A rather cheesy quote, but one I think applies to how I feel about the work I do.
I am very keen to make it as an adventure sports film maker and I am always enthusiastic and embrace new projects as they come.
Please, take a look at my work and let me know what you think. Thanks.
